I bought this for our family bungee nights. It used to just be me and the wife, but with the “Walking Wings Learning to Walk Assistant” we can now heave junior over bridges and ravines with no problems at all! Look out below!!!

$30 for this piece of junk?! I read about it in Reader’s Digest and thought the author was joking. The little walk behind push toys are so much more useful and a lot cheaper! How is a harness going to give a child independence? SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! NOT WORTH IT!!

  3. This is the most ridiculous waste of money and time. As any real parent knows, kids learn to walk in about a week. After that, you can’t strap ‘em in fast enough. Why anyone would pay $30 plus S&H for something to use for 10 minutes is beyond me. It’s unreasonable to assuming that you’re going to walk around like Frankenstein keeping baby from falling. Well, baby needs to learn to fall and get back up…that’s how they build up their leg muscles. Secondly, 90% of kids learn to walk while wisking around holding onto the furniture. save your money and back and let jr. learn to walk on their own.

Our son needed some extra help learning how to walk. Upon hearing about this product, we ran out and got it to see if this might be the extra help he needed (plus to save our backs from constantly being bent over as we helped him walk around). While the product appears to be well made and the part you wrap around your child is softly cushioned, our son hated wearing it. He would start crying soon as it was on him (and forget about walking with it on!) Since our son had already been practicing with us prior to the Walking Wings, he had no interest in them since they made him more restrained. We were unsuccessful using it with him.

However, I do know that this product has worked for some children, which is the reason why I gave it 3 stars. If your child has not tried walking with you yet, or is more laid back in temperament, then these may work for your child.
